Until about the age of 20, I much preferred music as a form of expression to words. Shortly before starting my university studies, my passion shifted towards writing. Between 1999 and 2011, I wrote a fantasy trilogy, and the writing process has remained essential to me ever since.

Today I write poems, free reflections, and above all, children's stories on an irregular basis. Closely connected to writing for me is a contemplative observation of nature, which is also repeatedly expressed in photography.

Occasionally, this also leads to spatial and experimental works. For example, as part of the Open Studios Brandenburg 2026, the installation "Fantastic Landscapes between Playmobil and Postmodernism" was created in collaboration with the sculptor and painter Birgit Knappe – a walk-in diorama exploring the interplay between imagination, memory, and our relationship to the world.
